Data Scientist

We are growing our Data team with a Data Scientist!

Fast Track is welcoming a Data Scientist to its Data team to focus on building the Singularity Project - the most comprehensive intelligence hub for player engagement and iGaming CRM. The Data Scientist will regularly test hypotheses, extract and publish data insights, and build actionable and well-documented machine learning models to support our partners' business success.

As a Data Scientist at Fast Track, you will be focused on:

Experimentation and Hypothesis Testing:

• Build and maintain actionable, well-documented machine learning models to support partner success.

• Extract and publish data insights, ensuring findings address relevant business questions.

• Apply machine learning algorithms, evaluate models, and support the deployment process.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with key stakeholders to align solutions with business needs.

• Partner with industry experts to gather insights and develop impactful features from data.

• Create reports that present findings in clear, non-technical terms.

Technical Expertise:

• Handle data collection, exploratory data analysis (EDA), and feature engineering.

• Maintain and document workflows, code, environments, and models.

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role applying statistical and machine learning methods to solve business problems

• A strong understanding of statistical methods and techniques and experience in conducting scientific experiments

• Excellent understanding of probabilistic modelling and machine learning concepts and algorithms

• High proficiency in the Python programming language and experience using Python for data science

• Familiarity with Spark.

• Knowledge of SQL and the ability to aggregate and transform data to generate new features

• Ability to communicate findings effectively in both technical and non-technical terms

• Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving capabilities

• Excellent command of verbal and written English

• Strong communication and listening skills

• Great attention to detail

Considered a plus:

• Familiarity with an analytical database (ClickHouse, RedShift, Big Query, Snowflake)

• Experience in data visualisation

• Degree in Maths / Statistics / Data Science / Computer Science is a plus
