Join our Tech team based onsite in our head office in Malta (EU) as a Junior QA Engineer and help us revolutionise SaaS in the iGaming industry!
The Junior QA Engineer role focuses on ensuring the quality of our CRM. Key responsibilities include testing features of our CRM and identifying any issues, creating test documentation, and providing daily updates at dedicated team meetings. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of software testing and web technologies, strong attention to detail, the ability to learn quickly, and a genuine passion for delivering features with a robust backend and attractive front-end.
The team consists of producers, designers, front-end and back-end developers. There are currently two experienced QA professionals ready to support a newcomer. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow skills in quality assurance.
As a Junior QA Engineer at Fast Track, your focus will be:
Quality Assurance and Testing:
Testing new features. Isolate found issues with the help of other QA team members
Conduct regression testing using existing test documentation
Expand test coverage by turning existing checklists into test cases
Discuss upcoming features with fellow QAs and suggest approaches for testing to discover all potential bugs
Collaborate with the QA team to develop comprehensive test cases based on feature requirements, ensuring they reflect realistic usage scenarios
Test Documentation and Maintenance:
Keep test documentation up-to-date by adding new cases and revising existing ones as needed.
Taking parts in test-cases cross-review
Actively participate in QA team internal activities enhancing and refining our existing processes, and contributing ideas for improvement.
Issue Investigation and Resolution:
Utilise analytical skills to investigate test failures, conduct thorough root cause analysis, and collaborate effectively with development teams to address and resolve identified issues.
Provide clear, concise issue reports and maintain consistent follow-up. Effectively communicate the priority of each issue to developers, persistently track resolutions, and escalate when necessary.
Collaboration and Communication:
Build and nurture positive working relationships within the QA team and across product teams, fostering open communication and collaborative efforts.
Job requirements

Basic knowledge of test analysis and test documentation.
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Basic understanding of web technologies.
Familiarity with SDLC.
Familiarity with Agile methodology.
Highly driven with a “can-do” attitude
Meticulous with a keen eye for detail.
Tech-savvy - You have the necessary technical skills and experience needed to perform the role. You are well-informed about modern technology, have a curiosity and understanding to stay agile, and are open to new technological and disruptive developments and advancements.
(Preferable but not essential) iGaming industry experience, preferably in B2B and B2C companies.
